Young Harrison sure favors his father
It's not even the best solo on this song, let alone of all time!
For that matter, it's not even the best TONE of the song : the strat lead work is dialled in perfectly, volume boosted just on top of the band, with sweet, full creamy tone. The tele solo, on the other hand, has that grunge-chic, almost-lost-in-the-mix thing going on. Also it sounds weak and thin.
However, he did a lot better than:—

— Maroon 5 (Superbowl)
— Marilyn Manson
Prince was a better guitarist than most pop stars. I'll give him that. But amongst real guitarists, he's actually a bit substandard – No disrespect intended!

Is it easy on a stage of superstars playing a song you neither wrote nor recorded on a weeks notice, in front of a crowd of legends as well? If so, show me where someone else has done it.
