This I believe is the most sensible and consistent approach to arpeggios for guitar on the internet. Fingering is natural without excessively large jumps making movements more efficient. I've been studying guitar for (gosh) nigh on 60 years. I'm sometimes frustrated by teachers who don't really have it all worked out themselves. I like your approach and the use of Levels to show how to progress. I admit I've never tackled the problem of playing "up the neck" much before. But I am pretty fluent in position playing so I'm very ripe for this improvement in my skills. Thank You very much Paul.
Very Good teacher
I love your content 🙂
You look like MESSI
Damnit. Just damnit. I had to pause the video at 45 seconds in, so I could write this comment that I cheered audibly at 45 seconds. If you know why… You know why.
Love it! Perfect!!
Is it still called arpeggio if i trew the pick and started finger picking it?
Im not used to pick playing and it's hard for me to pick the right strings
Great video thank you so much for that lesson you’re an amazing player and teacher
No2 is the stranger things sound

At the begin I thought your were playing the intro of Stranger Things.
🫶🏻👌🏻
Its more sound like stranger things theme
めちゃめちゃ勉強になります!
Besides the beautiful guitar playing, the background, the background lighting is always so warm and inviting to the viewer. It makes me feel like I’m wrapped up in a warm blanket out of the dryer with slippers and a hot cup of hot chocolate. Always!!
Level 2 quickly turned into the stranger things intro
Thank you Paul! This was a very helpful video lesson.

Dear Paul,
this video was so much fun 🙂
I practiced level 3 for about 5 minutes and got it at medium speed up and down 3 times in a row (just a rule for me to be sure, that I got it memorized).
Thank you – your demonstration is an inspiration for me to continue to work on arpeggios.
I always wondered what to do, when my teacher said „play arpeggios“ – as I didn’t have an example (like one of these of your video) to repeat and get used to I had no starting point and no inspiration to continue.
So – very well done, thanks a lot, Joachim
