Hey Siggi. Kannst du nicht mal “Folsom Prison Blues” reinstellen? Das wäre für mich ein Grund die Sticks zwischenzeitlich auch mal für einen 6-saitgen Hals zu tauschen 🙂 Oder “Cry Cry Cry”, das ist nämlich auch so ein wahnsinnig toller Song, ein bischen mehr Johnny halt. Sing die Songs nämlich unglaublich gerne und würd das gerne mal mit Gitarre unterlegen.

What I love about your lessons is that you do not teach down to us, from your speech and manner, I can tell you have the patience to really teach. You are a very talented person and you teach in a way that lifts are guitar playing, not simply teaches us something close enough that we do not have to try.

Moin Siggi,
nach mehr als 10 Jahren klassischem Gitarrenunterricht habe ich vor circa 6Jahren meine Gitarre “in die Ecke gestellt” und seitdem kaum eines Blickes gewürdigt. Beim recherchieren über Cashs American Recordings bin ich heute auf deinem Channel gelandet und habe deine Anleitung zu diesem grandiosen Song gefunden.
Neben der guten Anleitung wollte ich mich dafür bedanken, dass du mich dazu gebracht hast nach so langer Zeit endlich wieder meine Gitarre zu benutzen!

Eine ganze gute “Lesson”
allerdings würde ich das Lied nicht mit einem D Akkord spielen sonder den C Akkord einfach zwei Bünde nach unten verschieben ….
Ich finds einfacher und meiner Meinung nach klingt es weicher und schöner.
Aber jedem das seine =)

Love this one Siggi-very sad song and Johnny’s vocal tone is perfect. Great choice of song and nice description as always. I was tempted to cover this one myself.
