Very impressive, but if you can't improve on the original, why bother? Why not try being more like Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Pete Townsend, et al — people who invented guitar songs that cannot be played on any other instrument? P.S. You're not even close to Brian May's solos (i am a hack and I could do better)

Sounds like a nylon string….why does it sound like a nylon? Also I love the mix of the old with the new…new 7 string guitar…old 80s hair style. (Sorry had to say it, well done you for your vid and tribute).
Tha guitar is nearly as beautiful as the piece he was playing.
It will take a long time to play guitar like this, and even longer to write a song like this.
