Easy Guitar Chords For Beginners – Learn the first guitar chords you need to know on guitar. These are the first 4 chords I teach my beginner guitar students in their first lessons. I love these total beginner chords because most of them only use two fingers which makes is way easier to play for beginner guitarists.

I understand there are not the traditional 3 fingered C and G chords most teachers teach. This is a BEGINNER GUITAR LESSON. Do don't be mean about it. Not everyone can jump right into 3 fingered chords. 🙂

Is it easier to learn on electric guitar?
The problem I have is the fingers on any note I'm playing is touching the other cord and the sound is mute
hi lauren, now that is simplest and clearest i have seen so far thanku i will stick with you for a while thanku, iv been playing electric giutar for 7 months now i can play the intros to eye of the tiger, cocain by eric clapton, and smoke on the water, i dont know why but i skipped these chords that you are teaching fear i think, kind regards mike in the uk.
