Sounds as good to me as it did in 1975!
hence, "guitar gods" – such work as this was incendiary, cosmic, intensely evocative – does anyone get spiritual anymore?
I read that George Clinton instructed Eddie Hazel to "play like your momma just died"
I just cried listening to this
This changed how I played guitar forever. And ever.
Forty plus years later and its still just as fresh……
I was at a friends house with a few mates and someone was playing a load of techno shite for a what felt like forever. Eventually he agreed to let someone else control the music. This was the first song I played and at a couple of minutes into it he said "does anyone want to put some decent music on". I killed him and myself right there and then.
in my head since I heard it
the only song which begins with a solo. das einzige lied, welches mit einem solo beginnt:-)
that guitar has a soul.
For the last 40 some years a local Cleveland radio station plays this every Saturday night at 12am. First time I heard it was with my dad when I was about 8, we were driving home from an Indians world series game in 95. Since that moment I've probably heard and enjoyed this over 100 times in my life while driving in my car.
Forever Eddie Hazel !!!
im high off music again… how does this keep happening?! >.<;;
0:00 to 5:00 The best part.
It sounded better live in '75! Seen Hendrix live too, yes indeed! 🎸🎵🎶🎼
think I need some vitamin c. so I can feel this tomorrow.
