Guitar hero
L E G E N D !!!
too often the word legend is used not in this case
GARY MOORE LEGEND
You can practise this solo for years and after countless hours you can nail it but if there is not emotion , it's pointless.
Very nice thanks for posting. And Gary Moore could very well be the best ever. Have you listened to his newer stuff? Like Jeff Beck….he continued to reinvent himself, to step outside the box (Like Eddie Van Halen REFUSES to do). Just incredibly versatile, soulful. One moment making the guitar weep with passion- a single note sending shivers, the next moment making it scream like a banshee and then a flurry of melodic meaningful notes. I like them all (rock/blues), Satch, Malmsteen, Morse, Lifeson, Dharma, Vai….but the only other person I'd put in this league is Michael Schenker. Gary's more on the blues side, but Schenker also knows how to do this, and does it well too.
Zašto je umrla muzika?????
he dies to young shit
none better………….none…………..gallaher, srv, clapton, king etc all as good technically………..but no-one could make a guitar cry or sound so emotional as this man……….legend…..
No words… just amazing!
INCREIBLE GENIO GARY MOORE
It's not always about speed it's about soul! Prime example
I've played guitar for about 8 years. I started when I was 10 and I got to say this is one of the best damn solos I've ever heard.
phuuuuck
For me Gary Moore is the greatest guitarist ever. Blues,Rock,or Classic it doesn't matter his speed, tone, and cleanness are hard to match.
Northern Ireland Belfast.
I've been listening to rock (70s – 2016) since i was kid it's been decades now and tbh This's one of the best abd the greatest solos I've ever heard. more than a solo itself it's saying something deep words but unfortunately he's the most underrated guitarist. RIP Gary!! love and respect 👏
first time i saw him was sydney 1978. no other guitarist comes close to him.
without a doubt the greatest British guitarist of all time!
can't stop listening ❤❤❤
thats got to be the first strat i have seen with just the bridge pickup …maybe thats a nod to EVH?
Maybe the best guitar solo ever played in history, i felt all of it deep in my heart, oh the blues
Still Gary's best solo I think… I saw him play in 87 in Birmingham around this time… he finished the set with the 'Loner' and I just wanted to sell all my guitars and amps and give up. Phenomenal player and always has been. RIP Gary.
No guitarist has ever played with more feeling than Gary Moore. This is beautiful. The first few notes are sublime. The guitar sounds like it has a broken heart. Gary was the BEST. I'm blessed to have known him. He's greatly missed. Quite frankly, Gary was in a class of his own. He was blessed with a very, very special gift.
