He's playing on a 12 string guitar, but only 11 strings are on it. It's impossible to count the strings in this video, since the quality is so low, but trust me, he plays this song with a missing G string.

The 2012 STUDIO VERSION of this record OCEAN is by far the best one. Such an incredible artist right here, people. Ignorance…..Ugh. Its not like he was playing in the beer garden. LOL. Great guy, awesome song, wicked heartfelt sharing of his art. Thankfully there are other videos of him playing this (slightly different of course JBT style!) and you can enjoy it without the jerk off's mumbling….Heard this a thousand times I swear, Still get trapped listening and watching…its magic.
good thing about this song is its an ocean, so its never the same twice, yet it still feels the same. and when that storm hits…face it!
