the song is called Jungle Essence i didnt want 2 put it as da title cuz iono if anyone else knows about this song its robert trujillos solo
PS stop saying whos better (jason, cliff or rob)iv read da comment over and over and no ones going to agree with no one so just drop dat plz point is there all good bass players if there good enough for metallica there good enough for me
I watched a video of R.T. playing some acoustic flamenco guitar the other day. He really made that gutiar sing with an unquestionably authoritive tone. Rhythm was supremely confident, melodies rang out clear and true. I admire what he has been able to achieve as a music professional. I find it hard to appreciate his bass playing here though.
Is he using an echo pedal at 1:20
Whoever says Robert is shit they even don't know what bass is!!!! Cliff was awesome !!!! So do Jason and so do Robert !!!!! Everybody have their own techniques!!!!
3:22 to 3:45 FUCKING AWESOME
4:05 – 6:00
2:59 – 3:20 sounds so awesome!!
What a beast
lol; u guys are really a joke and i'm talking about whoever says rob is bad; yes he isnt exactly a metallic fit; but some of the solos he did, he did a WAYYY better job than jason ever did and clearly none of you know how to slap bass, or even know anything about bass….. yet all of you suck jason's cock when truly, lets face the facts hes a quitter and truly doesn't know how to play with his fingers so suck it up. there are things a finger bass player can do that a prick (sorry pick) player can never achieve. Obviously noone matches up to cliff.
Sucks!
WHY THEY ARE NOT kicked him
1:33 – 1:50 Immigrant Song
You give Cliff too little credit. He had a fantastic talent for arranging and coming up with unorthodox parts. Just listen to the little fills and melodicisms that pop up in most Metallica songs he played on. Not to mention how he helped with songwriting on the next two albums.
Well dipshit sorry to tell ya, Trujillo actually has more than Cliff had (which is quick fingers and a distortion pedal), If you actually listen to Suicidal Tendencies/Infectious Grooves you'll hear what Trujillo actually has to offer.
