hey scott ,great lesson … i have a problem though. whenever i pluck,my hand follows the forearm movement and not he wrist movement.. ive been trying do the wrist thing for days ..cant get hold of it .. thumb part im ok but the plucking part …
would u suggest some tips

Brilliant! Thanks Scott! I've been playing guitar again for a year now since not playing for about 20 and have also started learning bass. Really love the sound of slap bass and your tutorial here has really helped me. Blisters a plenty 😂 I'm sure I can build up the callouses like on my left hand for guitar. Have subbed and will be watching a lot more. Son started playing recently too so will send him over! Thanks again!
He starts talking about slapping at 3:47. At 7:30 he starts showing the pattern. The other parts are worth listening to, but on repeated listening, you may want to just go straight to those parts.

Slap bass is when you combine a drummer and and a bass player
is it normar for the E and A strings to hit the metal fret when i tap them with my thumb? because i find it really annoying.

My arm clicks like that, too, but really badly. Does anyone else have this problem/know if this is related to playing guitar?
