When I first discovered Tal, for the first time, was from Eric Clapton's guitar festival 2007. To say I was blown away, would not even describe my reaction to her playing. If Jaco Pastorius was still alive, I think he would not doubt her talent! When I read so many of the comments about her breasts, I thought, do not these people have better things to do with their time? A bunch of adolescents in middle school!

yes, tal has great chops. those who choose to convert that into a double entendre, will. as a reproductive species we have physical attractions which can cause members of both genders to give a shout out to their peeps. that does not necessarily diminish the humanity of either the shouter or the subject of their attractions/ogle-ing. allissia beneviste and esperanza spalding are, for example, great bassist, composer, singers who happen to be female. I play the bass and I dig the modal section, the rhythmic counterpoint, and the melodic driving triplets at the end. nicely done tal- keep on rockin' in the free world. woof
I remember first hearing Cliff Burtons anesthesia pulling teeth which was his famous bass solo on Metallicas Kill'em All album where he said "bass solo take one" and I remember thinking bass solo?because bassists normally are over looked and don't solo much,but this girl is very good.
