You can love or hate the actual music (I love it myself) thats being produced here, but NO ONE can deny Billy is probably the BEST possible bass player out there. I cannot see how anyone can surpass him technique wise, or to put it on another level, I cannot see how Billy could not take the position of ANYBODY else in ANY STYLE and NOT perform adequately….The mastery of the instrument is just jaw dropping….
Motherfucker can play pinch harmonics on bass… with his fingers. WITH HIS FINGERS.

I find it so funny the people that hate on him and attack his style as noise simply because they don't like it. I have to laugh at the fact they can't even appreciate what he's doing with an open mind. It's really sad in a way because it shows what's becoming wrong with our country. Intolerance for anyone else's opinion, likes, or beliefs and having to belittle them. You know the old saying if you can't say something nice the stfu. Ok, I changed it a little but fine, if you don't like it, just stop watching and move on, why do you have to stop and hate? The fact that many of the biggest names in music call him a great innovator and an awesome player should tell you that your little hate means nothing. The fact that DLR wanted him for the original bassist for Van Halen and Alex said no he would over play and crowd Eddy makes me laugh when I listened to Eat em and Smile and it proved him wrong, or else Steve Vai is just that much better than Eddy. lol Billy knows when to play low and back and when it's ok to step up. THAT is what makes him great. Those that judge him from one or 2 solos are just missing out. Too bad.
