Anthony Gainsford says:

Dear James my apology to you and other subscribers if this sounds dumb. I think your approach is great and simplicity is best. So as a teacher(not guitar) myself, I ask this, could you slow it down even more! I know that even quite accomplished new learners, all have a slightly different "absorption" rate, mine is like 1-2-3. I often work things out by rushing to follow, then breaking stuff down, by slower trial and error, because no matter how I try, I can't quite see what notes you are playing, or others. Maybe, and its of course its up to you, a slowed down version for people that just don't "see it" as fast as others. Thanks again though and I will persevere, as you are among the best teachers here.

Pepete says:

Great lesson! Just wanted to point out that the real name is "la malagueña" (in Spanish "the girl from Málaga"), you don't really pronounce the "u".

this was extremely helpful with the intro

Aria Armstrong says:

I would give many thumbs up if I could. I really appreciate the way you explain technique, and break down the parts of the song into easy-to-learn segments. I found this video to be very user friendly. Thank you for sharing your instructions on line. I am a beginner (sort of) and will enjoy learning this song. I like the way the song progresses from easier to more advanced all in one go.

Chad Garrett says:

thanks from a beginner, very useful

Ashish Awasthi says:

Thank you so much. I just learnt this awesome piece without much difficulty and understanding of the basics. I love your approach. It kind of instills the learner with the motivation to learn the basics as she gets the confidence and end up surprised what she could actually do with the guitar herself with such a little help.
