I feel like we are cheating learning the guitar with videos like these! You’re too good of a teacher and picker. I remember learning guitar and songs pre YouTube and progress was sooo slow!
I love the way he also spoke along the beat. Making this lesson video unnecessarily intense, but easy to follow.
Great post Paul. You know most people don’t realize that playing Funk is more difficult than it seems especially if you are both the lead player as well as the vocalist. It takes a lot of timing and sense of rhythm & many can’t do it, at least do it right. That’s a great groove you put together great dance music. Rhythm and blues +Funk is the greatest dance music or work out music to get the body moving and motivated. I’m getting a bit old for the dance thing but still enjoy Funk and Blues. Thanks again. Love your posts. Take care my man. Played for a long time but quit due to lack of motivation after my divorce. Just getting back into it. Your channel has helped me and I sincerely thank you for it. If you ever need a place to stay in Salt Lake City, you’d be welcome to stay I have extra rooms with adjacent bathroom and I’d be happy to have you as I live alone and enjoy meeting new people with similar interests/talents, and it would be great to kick back and jam.
