Depends on how much work you put into it! In my experience it will get you some whores but the ones worth dating don’t really care. On the other hand it will make the competition hate the shit out of you, being a musician is bad ass especially if your good at what you play. I was fourteen when I posted this comment and started learning how to play. Now I’m fifteen and done with my lessons. I just teach myself new songs every other day. 🙂

I am a songwriter, and at 33 years old am only barely grasping the aspects of the acoustic guitar. Nothing prepares you for the pain inflicted from the steel strings on your fingertips. Lol, I have been watching videos and checking out books at the library. What I have absorbed has helped me in my writing, and I must say , the differences in method between teachers helps too because you may find that a different point of view fits your playing style better. Check out my videos to see. lol
