Tex Murphy says:

You make it look so effortless, I have been playing guitar for over 40 years and I can only play half of the songs, half as good as you.

Paul In Kyushu says:

Am I the only person in the world who hates Stairway To Heaven with a passion. I absolutely despise it with every fibre of my being. Led Zeppelin were just awful.

Jay Meinen says:

I really thought that I’d hear ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ included in the list. I probably would’ve put ‘More Than a Feeling’ at number 3. Awesome list!!

David MacDougall says:

GREAT JOB RICK. Instantly recognizable intros. Rolling Stones WAITING ON A FRIEND could have made the list with that criteria

Matthew Dixon says:

I cannot believe he didn't play stairway correctly… Not knocking your guitar playing skills at all where's the F in stairway?

Also there are so many other songs that topple other songs on your list. I mean what about under the bridge by red hot chili or enter sandman by Metallica… I mean everybody on the planet knows those two songs. Talk about a hook. What about dust in the wind?

williams irudayaraj says:

It's JoJo 🙃

Jason Griffin says:

Surprised to see Mason Williams – "Classical Gas" did not even get honorable mention.

Mike Rukavina says:

Missing a note or 2 from AIC but still nice.

Christian Whitmore says:

Should of done behind blue eyes instead of pinball wizard. Both are fantastic tho

J PP says:

Stairway is great, even if they stole the intro from Spirit.

claus Appel says:

What about

The needle and the damage done (Neil Young)

Ventura Highway
(America)

The Wizard
(Uriah Heep)

Laguna Sunrise
(Black Sabbath)

Lola
(The Kinks)?

Seth Rice says:

Not classic rock era…but "Neon" by John Mayer needed to be on this list.

Steffen Morawietz says:

Rick, you rock!

Paul D. Satyrfyre says:

Give a Little Bit by Supertramp was not even an honorable mention? C'mon John Snow!

Jaggy says:

Beautifully played. I wish id been introduced to guitar at an early age. Ive found it at 53 and play it every day but its too late to even get close to your skills. Love listening to those who really have mastered their discipline.
