Thanks for that Marty ✌🏼🌈

Todd Sullivan says:

Love your channel, but would be great if you put a picture of the cord along with the ddup, just makes it easy for beginners to write it down lol

Victoria Palagy says:

Thank you ☺️

Jakk Attack says:

i couldn't hear the strumming pattern

brad sparks says:

You act like Chris Stapleton is the god when George Jones was the one that made the song famous. He took it to number 2 on the billboards 40 years ago bro

Kick A Little: Mustang Gaming says:

thank you Marty for this song tutorial, however I noted one thing I didn't hear you mention. transitions can be tough for me. however this one is a simple fix. I'm using the capbow to play. there's something I noted in the original song may help others too who struggle with transitions from chord to chord. the open chord and I wondered if you could maybe add that in? for those who struggle with transitions it does help with this song especially to have that open chord that's more rhythm than anything it's an in between chord I can play it better than I can explain it g chord 1-6 , open chord wanna say 3 with the third stroke being stopped then the a minor 1-6. idk if you can kinda pick up what I'm saying here but mention of the open chord would help greatly I think to transition strugglers like me.

Darryl Douglas says:

Is this the same as I’d rather go blind by Etta James? 😃

Bugsy Wayne says:

Marty’s the man

Carol Borsari says:

I do like your simple beginner lessons but it would help if you slow it down more. Also please describe how each chord is fingered. (It took a
lot of googling and pausing to see how to finger each chord.) It really helps when you verbally explain the strumming pattern. However, I had a hard time understanding what you were saying at that point i.e. down, down, down, down, up, down……. Can you slow down at that point and describe the strumming with words without music a bit? Overall, I love your lessons. Thanks!

Brad Warnock says:

Marty would you please teach frie away by chris Stapleton

Rock McCollum says:

AWESOME! Get down Marty.

Cyrano Deberchiac says:

Marty, you should point out that on "Tennessee Whisky the count is "6".

Ben Klee says:

What is the initial strum? you show just down down, but to start you get the initial "chk" which is throwing my timing off so bad.

Doug M says:

Another great lesson!! You break down and make everything so simple which is fantastic for me being a beginner!! And I thankyou so much for that. I've learned almost everything I know about playing guitar from you, from my first chords to strumming and patterns. You make me want to pick up my guitar and learn a new song every time I watch this channel. Thanks for making it so easy! I appreciate you greatly!!

Chris Marino says:

Nothing like Marty literally drooling over Chris Stapleton (20th Fret)

Brenda Foster says:

Can you teach an easy way to play Save Me by Jelly Roll if you haven't already?

Leoj Santos says:

He looks like a boyle

BE says:

Awesome, was hoping you were going to cover all the lead guitar on this song like the intro and and such. In the end still a very helpful video. I got to practice my solo as you played the chords
