Tip: Cut the tangs of the end of the frets before you set them in it'll make your life easier
Should mask finger board before buffing to avoid introducing darkened compound to bare wood.

Is a really bad idea to give more radius to the fretwire than the fretboard for more stability in the corners, the thing is when you apply radius to the wire preview to instal the fret act as a spring so doesn't matter the fretwire get tight to the fretboard the wood contract and expand depends humidity and temperature so when expand the fret moves slightly from the slot, the best way is using an arbor press and giving the exact radius to the wire of the fretboard previews instal, that way doesn't matter the wood expand the fret will stay intact with no spring effect, I have 40 years making professional guitars and never received any guitar with buzzings no matter how long I made it
